Troubleshoot 1: Check Your Internet Connection

1. Open a browser window and access the link: speedtest.net. 
2. On the website, a Go button will appear. Click on it to check your internet speed. 
3. It will now start checking your internet speed. If it is less than 10 Mbps, then your Internet is probably the problem, and you need to change the connection. If your internet speed is well above 10 Mbps, try another troubleshooting method. 

Troubleshoot 2: Restart Your Device 

Restarting a computer device can also fix many email issues. Here’s how to restart your Windows PC or MacBook. 

For Windows PC

1. First, find and click the Start button, which looks like a Windows logo, in the bottom-left corner of your screen. 
2. Next, click on the power icon in the Start menu that looks like a power button. 
3. Finally, choose the Restart option, and your computer will restart. 
4. After it restarts, log in to your GoDaddy email and see if the problem remains.

For MacBook 

1. On your MacBook, find the Power button in the upper left corner of your keyboard. 
2. Press and hold the button until your screen goes completely black. Wait for a while before releasing the button. 
3. After a few seconds, press and hold the same button again until you see the Apple logo on your screen. 
4. Wait until the MacBook software loading process ends. 
5. Once your lock screen is back, log in to your PC and check whether your problem still persists.

Troubleshoot 3: Check DNS Settings 

DNS is like a translator that translates your email domain, like yourbusiness.com, into a computer-friendly language called an IP address (which looks like 192.0.2.1). This helps your device understand where to send the email. 

When your DNS settings are incorrect, you will not be able to receive emails. To confirm the issue, check your DNS settings as follows: 

1. Open a browser on your computer and visit the site sso.godaddy.com. 
2. Sign in to your GoDaddy account using username and password.
3. Then, tap on the Manage option next to your account under Users. 
4. After that, select the Recheck DNS option located under Setup. 
5. Next, click on the Recheck DNS. 
6. Now, it will confirm if there is any issue with your DNS.
