Apple launched iCloud service on October 12, 2011. While launching iCloud, it was partly hosted on Amazon Web Service and Microsoft Azure. Then, on June 6, 2011, Steve Jobs announced that iCloud would replace MobileMe due to its failure. Later, on October 12, 2011, iCloud was released after the discontinuation of MobileMe.
