Lost/Deleted Emails Recovery


The "Yahoo Lost/Deleted Emails Recovery" issue occurs when emails are accidentally deleted or lost due to hacking or technical issues. Users can recover lost or deleted emails from Yahoo by checking the trash or spam folders, 

Causes

  • Hacking or unauthorized access to the account

  • Inactivity for an extended period causes automatic deletion
  • Emptying the Trash folder manually or automatically.

Solution 1: Check your Trash and Spam folders, as well as your Archived emails

  1. As your initial step, log in to your Yahoo Mail account.
  2. Look for the Trash and Spam folders on the left-hand side of the screen and tap on them.
  3. If you find the deleted email in the Trash folder, select it and hit the Move button to move it to your inbox or another folder.
  4. To check your archived emails, open the Archive folder on the left-hand side of the screen.
  5. If you find the email in the Archive folder, click on it and select Move to move it to your inbox or another folder.
  6. If you still can't find the email, try searching for it using the search bar at the top of the screen.
  7. If all else fails, contact Yahoo customer help for further assistance.

Solution 2: Recover recently deleted Yahoo emails with the Restore feature within 7 days

  1. Go to the Yahoo Mail login webpage and sign in to your account.
  2. Then, open the Trash folder on the left-hand side of the page.
  3. After that, select the emails you want to restore.
  4. Now, press the Move icon located at the top of the page.
  5. Choose the folder where you want to move the emails back to (Inbox or any other folder).
  6. If you are unable to find the deleted emails, tap on the Help icon located at the top-right corner of the page.
  7. Now, select Restore lost or deleted emails from the list of options.
  8. Follow the on-screen steps to complete the restoration process.
