Having trouble with your Outlook Mail

IMAP and POP are two commonly used email protocols in Outlook, and users may face issues related to these protocols. 3. After that, click on Change and then More Settings.
4. Open the Advanced tab and ensure the incoming/outgoing server settings are correct.
5. Check if the port numbers for the incoming/outgoing servers are correct.
6. Ensure that SSL encryption is enabled for both incoming and outgoing servers.
7. Tap OK to save the changes and test the account settings to confirm the issue’s fixed.

Solution 2: Make sure that the account is not exceeding its storage limit

1. First of all, open Outlook and click on the File menu.
2. After that, you have to hit the Account Settings button.
3. Next, select Account Settings from the drop-down menu.
4. Select the account you want to check the storage limit and press the Change button.
5. Now, check the mailbox size displayed in the Server Settings section.
6. Compare the mailbox size to the storage limit provided by your email provider.
7. If the mailbox size is near or exceeding the storage limit, you need to free up some space by deleting unnecessary emails, archiving old emails, or increasing the storage limit by contacting your email provider.

Solution 3: Check if there is any issue with the internet connectivity

1. First, open a browser and try to visit a few websites to confirm if there is any issue with the internet connection.
2. If you can access the internet, check the Outlook status page to see if there are any known issues.
3. If there are no known issues, try to close and reopen Outlook to see if it fixes the issue.

Solution 4: Disable any add-ins that might be causing conflicts with IMAP/POP settings

1. To begin, open Outlook on your device and tap on File.
2. After that, you need to click on Options.
3. Then, select the Add-ins option.
4. Under the Manage dropdown, select COM Add-ins and click Go.
5. Uncheck any add-ins that are currently enabled.
6. In the next step, press the OK button.
7. Lastly, restart Outlook for the changes to take effect.

Solution 5: Try removing and re-adding the email account in Outlook

1. First, open Outlook and go to File > Account Settings > Account Settings.
2. Select the account experiencing the IMAP/POP-related issues and hit Remove.
3. Once the account is removed, tap Add Account and follow the steps to add the account back to Outlook.
4. After that, make sure to enter the correct account details. 
5. Now, select the appropriate IMAP/POP settings during the setup.
